Tsunami Dragons - 2009 Membership Contract

This document is to serve as my agreement of membership and payment of dues to the Tsunami Dragons Dragon Boat Team.  The annual membership fee for all team members is $250.00 per year. First and Second year members must pay an additional boat/equipment fee of $50 each year.
Terms stated above apply regardless of when you officially join the team.  

Benefits of Membership include:
1.A new dragon boat paddle for each new member after they have paid their first year dues and fees in full.  NOTE: Each new member must provide their own life vest.
2.Permission to practice with the team as per the practice schedule.
3.Paddling instructions from a professional dragon boat racing coach.
4.Participation in team competitions.
5.Voting rights as a member.

Membership dues pay for the following expenses:
Coach fees
Liability and boat insurance
Boat maintenance and off-season storage
Dragon Boat organization membership fees
Race fees
Practice paddles and life vests for guests
New paddles for new members.

ANNUAL DUES: I understand my annual dues are payable by one of the following payment options. I agree to pay (please check an option):
____  Total payment of $250.00 – due by March 15, 2009*
____  $125 due by March 15, 2009* and $125 due by June 1, 2009
____  An individualized payment plan may be discussed with the Treasurer or President.


BOAT/EQUIPMENT FEE – For 1st and 2nd year members only: I understand my boat/equipment fee is payable by one of the following payment options. I agree to pay (please check an option):
____  Total payment of $50 – due by March 15, 2009*
____  $25 due by March 15, 2009* and $25 due by June 1, 2009
____  An individualized payment plan may be discussed with the Treasurer or President.

* If you join after March 15th your first payment is due 2 weeks after receiving the member contract.
